The care was very good and initially I required a lot of care including bed changes in the middle of the night. Required help getting in and out of bed, showering, meals in room, etc. with failing health and all were expecting me to die. After a while though, I was able to get out of bed and using a walker and frequently needed directions from staff to move through facility. The staff was very supportive of me providing answers to my health questions even as my health deteriorated.

They were always making conversation and indulging stories from some of the more elderly patients. The rooms were tidy and I recall that during many visits, there were activities going on in the rec room. The rooms themselves were sparse and minimal but clean; the same can be said of the restrooms. I wouldn't call it a high-tech facility but it wasn't the worst place he could have been.
